Did they 'partner' Bulldog with We-lie? I saw a bulldog yellow truck with a Wylie decal on it. So many companies got blended before Daseke got sold, I lost track of who is partnered with who.

I’ve seen that truck recently too. Not that I’m aware of, last I heard Bulldog was on their own. But I would say most people outside of SPD don’t know the relationship we have with Wylie, so who knows.

Quit…. No doubt. I started trucking after 30 years of climbing ladders, working on roofs and hot crawlspaces…I’m spoiled. I love my air ride, air conditioning, I’ve idled every single night in 580,000 mile on this Tupperware torpedo I’m currently driving, and I’ve even gotten used to an auto… spent enough hrs on the Cross Bronx to LIKE my auto…I like my elog and GPS… I have nothing but respect and admiration to the old timers.. yall are hard core… I aint….

If Cross Bronx means heavy city driving, I'm with you all the way there, I swapped for an auto to save my left knee and right shoulder from disintegrating completely. Not so hard core when it comes to bits dropping off. ;-)

So much for the Boeing strike being over

Union members reject deal with Boeing, prolonging strike

I read earlier this week that the average yearly income for these union members is just over $100k...and they were gonna get $7000 bonus this year, and a 12% raise effective immediately. That isn't enough?....I hope Boeing lays off the whole ####ing bunch and ships their jobs elsewhere...bunch of ungrateful crybabies. Let's see them find another job up there that comes close to what they're making now, let alone one that'll pay what they just rejected.

Earlier this week I saw an old black Moore truck with Central Oregon on the door pulling a BTC trailer in South Carolina or Georgia

According to Google the average is ≈$84k, ranging between $42k and $133k. Even assuming the higher end, that's barely middle class anymore, especially in Seattle area. According to the article you linked the sticking point seems to be the pension anyway. Not everyone wants to pass away at their job.

Oh cry me a river. Pension? Most middle class workers don't get a pension, they have to plan for their own retirement with a thing called an IRA or a 401k, which Boeing agreed to contribute more to their 401k. The crybabies should do what the rest of us working class slobs have to do, ask for a raise, if they say no, then work harder or find a better paying job. SPD cut my pay by 6-8% with their new pay plan. Did I threaten to stop working and march around with a sign until they paid me more? #### no, I worked harder and looked for a better paying job. In today's economy, they should do like the rest of us are doing and be happy we're making what we are and that we have a job.
