I’ve used Samsara at two fuel companies now and never had any issues.

We have a lot of issues. Enough of our drivers have been caught with it malfunctioning that it has had an effect on our safety scores. So much so, they send out periodic messages telling us to remember to sign out, reboot, and sign in on a daily basis. Even with doing that, my issues continue. The only thing signing out and back in does is it makes me re-enter my trailer and trip number. When I just reboot, I only have to re-enter the trip number the 1st reboot of the day.

The crazy thing is, if you look online, it's accurate, it is just incorrect on the truck's unit until you reboot.

Just watched a video about a pilot flying this Boeing aircraft

    download-8.jpeg

I have seen this plane at the N. Charleston assembly plant pretty much every time I pick up there. I had always thought it was affiliated with Boeing's space program, as in, their very own in house vomit comet. But it has nothing to do with that. It's a modified 747 exclusively used to transport fuselage assemblies from Japan and Italy back to Charleston and Everett. It will never be built for outside air-freight companies, it(or they) are an exclusive Boeing in house plane.

A few years ago I saw 3 of 4 dreamlifters in NC, SC. Pretty cool to see. They transport nearly all the large subassemblies for the 787 program.

It's cool to see them up close. When you pick up in N. Charleston, you drive within 100' of where they're parked.

That is one cool thing about working here, you get upclose to some of the big stuff they're working on, sometimes you even drive right under a plane's wing to deliver.

It’s truly hard for me to appreciate the scale of some of the places we deliver to. Everything is so freaking big.

Pretty sure SSB gave the bird to an old Gypsy woman at a truck stop some years ago and will be forever paying the price.
