That’s right, I forget you guys get layover after 24 hours. We should get some detention. We finally got loaded but not early enough to leave. These are some top heavy SOB’s. IMG_7452.jpeg

Yeah I had to watch one ours today too. Everytime it’s unpaid and hurts my ears and brain.

You've officially talked me out of going back to pulling OD.

I am still sitting and waiting. If I am still here tomorrow at this time, I am deadheading home. In all the years that I pulled reefer freight, I had never sat 3 ####ing days waiting on a load, tomorrow will be the start of day 4. Apparently they need fewer drivers here to hunt freight for, so I'll take my happy ### to where I belong.

    Oxbow and Rugerfan Thank this.

It amazes me you folks pull those with standard highway trucks…I’m not sure we let our heavy haul trainees (they drive their existing 3 axle trucks) would be cleared to do a stretch that long and wide but I might be mistaken.

As you have experienced hauling very heavy or wide equals a lot of waiting. I’m so picky about OD freight now they thought I’d stopped hauling it, I replied that I welcomed good paying OD loads, just no cheap ones going east, or pretty much in any direction lol.

    dwells40 and kylefitzy Thank this.

You have to keep your head on a swivel crossing that parking lot for sure.

These are pushing it honestly but most of the stuff we do is under 70 gross. We try to stick to the big and bulky but light ish loads. These are just for a sister company that lacks Canadian drivers.

    Winnyf1 and Oxbow Thank this.

I know guys give you a hard time on here for negativity @supersnackbar but sitting 4 days, especially given your work ethic with that place, is completely unacceptable. I hope you stick to your guns and head that thing to the house tomorrow if they don’t line you up with something, personally I would’ve been there yesterday, but my patience for BS is minimal at best.
