My unload on Saturday might be an interesting one. The load is on a flatbed, and we don't carry ramps. I took a look at a street view of my customer and I don't see any kind of ramp on their property, so unless they have some sort of tilt bed or one of their trailers is close to how tall our trailers are...or have a friend with a roll back, not sure how they're gonna unload

I like beaver tails, and rear loading, it really just depends on the piece of equipment.
Skidders are just fun to rear load.
Don't mind most tracked machines either.
Once it's a large dozer, excavator, buncher though, no it goes on over the front.
In a perfect world I would only skidders, Dozers up to D6 size, and skidsteers.
Skidsteers i load from the side most often.

Medium size 4WD off road forklift...around 10-11,000 lbs.

none on google maps within a safe drive (for them on the forklift)

this is a smallish rental place on a corner lot. There is a truck parts place next door, maybe they borrow their receiving dock.

I delivered John Deere tractors once when I was with Landstar...the one dealer I delivered to asked for a few hours notice before I got there so they could call their friend at a local tow company and he would back a roll back up to the ICC bumper. Then the dealer would throw down some 4x6's to make the drop off less severe, then just drive his tractors off the back of the trailer one by one onto the rollback's deck. Then the rollback would pull up and tilt the bed and he would drive off the deck and park the tractors in the lot.

that’s what I did to unload this goofy machine off my flatbed. Borrowed the Co-ops parking lot. If I remember correctly that’s a $20k bulldozer backhoe combo brought off the norther tool website. B045278D-2F8A-4AFA-8020-5C4C31096D21.jpeg

T/A in Commerce City is a rip-off. This load required 12 binders (3 machines, 4 corner tiedown). SPD issues 10 binders(5 rachet, 5 snap). I stopped at Home Depot on the way up to pick up this load and bought 2 snap binders (identical to the ones we're issued). They were $33 each. The T/A wants $52 each. That's how much Home Depot wants for a rachet binder (but they were sold out of those)...
