Anybody want a good laugh? Look at the ######## false advertisement they're putting out

This year I will have been away from home for 340 days, run my nutz into the dirt (around 132,000 miles) and will only gross $90k. I think someone in the recruiting office or the media marketing person needs to be drug tested...they must be stopping by our neighbor's weed dispensary on a daily basis.

Better you than me. I typically work a five day week, even when I go out of town which is infrequent at most. I have done one reset on the road all year and will gross right at 100k.

I’ve got your schedule too. 92.5K so far this year. No wonder he’s so grouchy. If lived in a truck that long I’d be insane.

It’s not false advertising if they have drivers making over 130k a year. And they do, I broke 130 at the start of last month. Now it would be pretty hard a new driver to make that with the pay program they are currently offering. Even with the program I’m grandfathered into it takes a lot of work. Most guys doing what I’m doing don’t want to run 10,12, 14000 miles a month. That’s why they got into oversize, more money less miles. I prefer more money, not miles.

As for getting paid every week, just don’t touch the first paycheck until you get the second on and its almost like getting paid every two weeks. I would prefer the pay schedule not change, but it is and we have no control over it. That’s just part of working for somebody.

After virtually depleting my cushion throughout the year because of the pay cut (and some deductibles for insurance claims in the beginning of the year), along with a new $500/month prescription the new company's insurance provider isn't allowing to be covered under the company prescription plan(and my wife is threatening to just say F it and do without it), we are now on a paycheck to paycheck program. I can't hold up paying a bill because it was due before I got paid. I won't make as much this year as I had thought, and I will have a whopping 6500 total miles this month. So honestly, this new per mile pay package they forced me on has dropped me close to what I was making at Moore 5 yrs ago.

As far as false advertising, it might not be true false advertising , but it is marginally deceptive if only one or two out of 200+ drivers are making that much, and the rest are making $80-85k. It's the same as a car dealer saying the MSRP is $50k for a car, but once you see the purchase price, they're asking $75k. Or a Motel saying $49 and up, but when you make a reservation it's $89. And I have been here 2+ years and haven't seen a single dollar of any 'retention bonus'

Got a surprise today. When I got unloaded, I didn't put my chains and straps back on my truck because I have been under this same conestoga for 2 months, I have been keeping my gear in the trailer. Now I am dropping the trailer, I decided to take my time swapping it back on my truck...well, the shop decided that 6000 miles was close enough to do a service.(Normally you have to be over before this shop will even think about getting you in). Plus, they decided that my satellite will be removed while it's in there. So, I had to rush putting my gear away so they can put it in the shop early. At least I won't need a service again until spring... unless I am gone by then.

That’s pretty deceptive considering anyone coming over won’t make that for years at best. And considering you’re grandfathered into an old plan it’s almost an outright lie at this point.

That is a surprise. I usually just get everything done on the road.

have you ever been to the mothership in Fargo? Do they have a wash bay? This trailer is a solid block of ice and I might have to load a piece of equipment Friday. The temps up here are not even going to be above zero, let alone freezing.

Never been there, wouldn't set foot on the property to piss on it if it caught fire.
