Last truck stop before the boarder. Waiting on SK to get us a permit, should have it by end of day I guess. Snowy but they know how to keep the roads clear. Everything looks like this but the roads were pretty much completely clear and we ran around 60 all day. Most of the time that’s all my little engine can manage. IMG_7608.jpeg

This is the latest forecast for Dallas

When I was at Poly, they got hit with 3 or 4 inches and it took me 3 hours to go from the western side of Fort Worth to their yard east of Dallas.

Maybe the road crews around Van Horn knew something the rest of us didn't when they pretreated the roads like they did.

And Mrs. Snackbar found out that our insurance no longer covers one of her prescriptions. She was switched from the Libre 2 glucose monitor to the Libre 3. When the Canuks bought us, they said our insurance wouldn't change, but she found out, the insurance no longer covers the Libre brand of monitors. So, now she has to get a new prescription for a different brand. On top of that, her doctor, whom she has had for 15-20 yrs, retired in November and she had very few options for a new doctor on their list. And the one she chose can't see her until sometime next week. This buyout is not turning out to be all that positive for some of us. I hope things smooth out in 2025, and the worst of the changes are over with.

I'm not necessarily about the whole socialized medicine thing, but we need to figure out a better system than what we have now because this crap ain't working.
