It's 11 miles from my front door to the DC in Brundidge. Yeah, everything is coated in white in this area. Multiple wrecks on US 231, all of the county roads closed. Most all of the bridges in the area have ice. Our area gets so little snow and ice, the road departments are not equipped for it. You made a wise decision not taking that load.

It is 4pm and we made it up to 21. I am not going outside until it is at least above freezing. I'm an OG and retired, there is nothing out there I have to do.

Well my big loads pushed off until
next week sometime. Got sent up to Kansas to move @supersnackbar favorite 60’ trailer. Got to the shipper at 0730 and it was -2 outside. The door was frozen to the ground and they tried to open it. So around 4pm once it was finally fixed I backed the trailer inside to be loaded tomorrow morning. Sounds like a detention day to me!

sounds like I’ll be meeting another driver and taking an 80’ steerable trailer to the left coast for some warm weather therapy. Or maybe I will just bring the cold weather with me.

They raised the forecast here in Pensacola to 4-6". We have that on the ground now and the snow isn't supposed to stop until later tonight about 8pm.

I am just over the Ine in Foley AL. I just measured the snow at 5 inches. We have a few more hours of snow predicted. Power companies want us to cut back on energy usage.

    dwells40 and Knucklehead Thank this.

They have changed our forecast twice today. Was just a coating to 1/10" of ice, then it went to 1/4" of ice. Now they're saying heavy mixed precipitation and up to 2" of snow over 1/8" of ice.

I just looked at Pensacola's forecast...near blizzard condition expected SOUTH of I-10...Hell freezing over isn't far off.
