I looked at them, not even close in pay.

Brakebush Transportation out of Wisconsin says they hire out of Florida, and offers 80-120k a year starting. Also have 13 paid sick days a year up until 2 years with the company. After that it goes up to 18-23 days I believe.

Those are two good ones. Brakebush is one of the more decent private fleets I know of. I think Dot Foods might have a warehouse down that way, I know there’s one in Vidala, GA.

Actually, right now, pay rates for drivers are down everywhere regardless of hometime frequency.

I agree. In my area even starting pay for line haul or P&D locals is well below what I make OTR.

Unless they changed recently, they don't hire out of my area.

That's the company I mentioned earlier that another forum member suggested. I messaged them, but still haven't heard back. I may find the time to call them tomorrow instead of relying on a simple 'contact us' message on their website.

That's the first I've heard of them. Nice equipment! Sounds good. But if they're anything like America's Service Line, I'll pass. They're fire happy.

Do you know anything about them? Can you take your truck home? Hometime if you're out of the area of the plants?

I heard an interview with them on the roaddog channel several years ago and they aounded like a good company to drive for. My problem would be them not answer9ng the contact us message in a timely manner

Would u ever wanna do car hauling or tanker ?
Me personally that probably where I would pivot from flatbed , both seem like lateral moves rather then going backward to being a door dummy . That just my opinion though, I could never slam doors as a company driver , to boring... it's to bad you live on out east, my company would have u in a rig in a week and it's some of the easiest work I've ever done.
