Our pc got tuened off a while ago. Whem we want to use it we have to send a request letting them know why we are using it. It is company policy that you have 7 hrs in the sleeper either before the pc move or after

And they wonder why the younger generation of Americans don't want to be OTR truckers.
What other profession tells you that you need permission to have the freedom of movement after your work shift has ended?
Not many.
My first company years ago didn't allow PC. I would just use drive time and if that meant less loads for the company, so be it.Deadwood, Gearjammin' Penguin, Knucklehead and 5 others Thank this. -
Not a chance. SPD management, like Lonestar management is keeping their jobs till they secure something else. There will be no changes or fixes for the better coming from the cannoks. I honestly believe they're pushing drivers to their limits purposely.Knucklehead and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

Which is opposite of what I had heard about TFI. They have (or had) a reputation for trying to retain drivers, not put in bigger revolving doors to simply keep as many drivers coming in as are quitting.
And another sucky part of this is, they have a company car in Arlington, but it is only available M-F during business hours when the Samsara guy/guard shack attendant is working. When he leaves, the keys are locked in the shack.
Wylie threatened to cut off PC, but only for driver's that didn't submit to their insane PC rules. They called me threatening to cut mine off because my load wouldn't be ready until morning, so I PC'd (bobtail) to the nearest truckstop and PC'd back the next morning. He said that because I was dispached on a load I couldn't PC (this was before the DOT allowed PC under a load). I told him, go ahead and do it, that he was cutting his own throat because I would still go to the truckstop anyway. Then I wouldn't have as many hours to produce revenue to pay his paycheck. If enough of us did that then they would have to lay off some of the excess cubicle dwelling pencil pushers up in Fargo taking up space. He didn't like my comment, but didn't turn off my PC either.Lonesome, Gearjammin' Penguin, Knucklehead and 3 others Thank this. -
Punish all drivers for the mistakes of a few..I believe the concept of that is called Equity.
ncmickey, Knucklehead and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Yeah, I've had the PC debate with safety/logs more than once. They don't deny I'm correct, but co policy trumps fmcsa and they admittedly say they are trying limit the "risk" stupid drivers face.
On a side note..... is peoplenet supposed to be this complicated.Knucklehead and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
At least going to Creffer ..he knows what to expect..having been there before...I've been here over over 12 years now...Creffer is far from perfect...but at .70 cpm..and around $2500 profit share each year...I can put up with the occasional Creffer BSLast edited: Feb 14, 2025

I will not miss doing elevator loads. 15-20° outside, 65° inside. Nobody waiting to come in and load, and these ######'s make you tarp outside. Thankfully I only have half a trailer. Too much for just my center tarp sideways, but at least it isn't a full trailer on a step deck where you have to extend the upper decks tarp down the step onto the lower deck.
Knucklehead, hope not dumb twucker and kylefitzy Thank this. -
Our Peoplenet at WyMoore was cake other than the never ending glitches.Lonesome and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

Lol, not ours. It's a good 3-5 minutes for a pre and post trips. And they tell us we have to pre and post trk AND trl for a drop and hook. That includes ALL license plates/state, mileage, and location. Everytime. Single. ##### Time. And i won't even get into arrivals, loaded, departure. It's a good 30 mins/day. And no threshold for movement. None. You creep, your driving. So rgn and stretch loading eats drive time.Lonesome, D.Tibbitt, Knucklehead and 3 others Thank this.
