Be careful what you wish for lmao. It can be fun, so long as you don’t mind the sitting and waiting and the ridiculous routings and curfews it’s rewarding and a decent challenge.

I originally wanted to do multi axle trailers here, but then I got addicted to going home while loaded and that’s not quite as easy to do when you’re OD or super heavy.

You like to stay out so I’m thinking it may be something you enjoy, @kylefitzy seems like a good contact to have if you do make the switch. All the best:).

I just wish I would have taken his advice years ago when he suggested working for SPD...I think I would have been much happier here than going back to an Acklie company.

*tear* they grow up so fast! Congratulations. Take your time, read your permits (twice at first) and if you don’t understand something, ask questions. Even if you have to call the state permit office. I’ve never had them not want to help when asking questions about routing or specific laws.

You want a trombone and an RGN? How about both at the same time, although the neck no longer comes off, this trailer started life as a rgn.

Did get some bad news today...the latest dispatcher I just got last month was the new 'on-boarding' dispatcher, so I've been upgraded, I get another new(to me) dispatcher starting tomorrow... a permanent one this time.

No adjustment. It was built to haul one specific aircraft part. It hauls raw parts one way and primed (among other things) parts back.

That and the fact that I "squeaked my wheel" (as it were) last week. When I spoke to the out going dispatcher when he called with this load, he had heard about my frustrations with sitting so much every load. So an email was sent out, but it almost sounds like all of Ops got it, so hopefully it helps. I mean, if there isn't freight, they can't move me, but I always give them as much advanced notice as I can about what my PTA is, so maybe they'll start looking for loads earlier in the trip so that there isn't 2 days of sitting.
