I gotta level with you guys. The Ziffle’s, the Douglass’s. Arnold being Fred’s pig. I have no idea what we’re talking about. Is this like an inside joke between forum members that is goin over my head or what’s happening?

Who is that that you guys are talking about? The person i was referring to either had a thread on here or was participating in one. But they seemed like they had something to do with running the wing division and something to do with Kansas city rings a bell for some reason.

 

Someone mentioned something about seeing a driver at a truck stop with a pet pig. In the ensuing comments someone mentioned arnold ziffle. That was a pig on the old tv show green acres from way back when some of us were wee little lads. I'm starting to feel old LOL!

 

Ok thank you! I had to scroll up and make sure I was in the right thread and even still on TTR I thought I was going nuts.

 

I can appreciate the humor of Green Acres now. Back then, nope. I grew up in SWGA, born in '55. Still enjoy a rerun occasionally.

 

arnold attended school. he even entered and won a contest in one episode. he would oink and the ziffles understood him. the funniest gag on the show.
