I think they just mistimed the warning. Snoqualmie's started at 10 pm on Saturday, Cabbage started at 7 am on Sunday. When I 1st looked at Snoqualmie's roads this morning it's orange and red from Cle Elum to North Bend. And Cabbage is orange from Cabbage to just west of Ontario.D.Tibbitt, Lonesome and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Im SLC..they’re expecting to get hit hard here this afternoon..wyoming already has 80 closed to all light high profile vehicle from west of elk mtn to Cheyenne..60+ mph wind gusts..they’re expecting snow sometime today..I would expect them to close it all together because of the idiots will be playing bumper vehicles..

If it's the same wind that hit me yesterday, it's gonna be fun. When I came across WY Saturday it was a wind watch, and only got a few gusts that even caught my attention. Idaho Saturday afternoon was way worse, then between Biggs Jct and just before Troutdale on 84 yesterday it was a pucker level 2 or 3(w/6000 on deck and a 53' conestoga shaped sail).D.Tibbitt, Speed_Drums and Lonesome Thank this.

Odd thing, since before I picked up that oversized load, I had been having issues with the truck. The ABS, traction control, and stability control idiot lights were on, and I lost all use of the cruise control(because the adaptive cruise has to have ABS and traction control functional). Although the crash nanny radar was functioning. I told dispatch that I need to have the system worked on when I come up to Arlington for a service. This morning, I fire up the truck...and everything is normal. It has been out for over a week, and just before I go to the shop, it's functioning? I hope it stores the codes for that system like it does for the engine and emissions...if it doesn't, then it's gonna be one of those problems that will never go away...I may need to pry the KW emblem off the grill and superglue a Freightliner emblem in it's place.
D.Tibbitt, Speed_Drums and dwells40 Thank this. -
My freightliner does the same thing in winter weather.D.Tibbitt and Old_n_gray Thank this.

Got my truck washed the other day and it wouldn’t crank. Once I got it going, it’s been good since then.
-
My truck used to do that. It was caused by corrosion in the 7way plug. I would turn my maker lights on and the abs system would do its self check like I turned the key on.

Well this is a gravy load. Quick to load, easy to secure. Now only if the dims were right. 13’6” wide and 15’10” tall. 4” taller then expected so lost at least a day running new route surveys and ordering new permits. Yay! Plus side is at least the customer has a porta potty in their parking lot and a gas station down the street.
D.Tibbitt, Speed_Drums, Bumper and 5 others Thank this. -
Not gonna tarp that one?
D.Tibbitt, Speed_Drums and Friend Thank this.
