It depends on what you haul.
I used to be a “Chemicals Unload Specialist” Haz Chemical tanker.
Then I was a “Professional Brain Surgeon that was just helping a friend.”
Now.. I’m just.. “That Guy Everyone Calls When Noone Else Wants It.”

Well I dont need any other name for it. I’m a truck driver. Proud of it to. I’m a well educated man but blue collar all the way.
I unloaded 26000 pounds today with my 2 wheel cart in 90 degree heat in less than 13 hours. I’m 48 years old and most men my age can’t do that. I’m on track to earn close to 100 gs and only worked 53 hours in 4 days this week. I don’t need to call myself anything other than what I am. I’m good at what I do and don’t need to try to make it sound more impressive than it is by changing the title.
when this pandemic hit not one of our drivers didn’t show up for work. Our routes shrank and how we got paid changed. I didn’t even know how I was going to be paid for a couple of weeks. Pay went down. Job got done. I deliver to restaurants schools and a lot of assisted living facilities. So #### anybody that doesn’t think that a simple truck driver is important enough to be proud of what he is.born&raisedintheusa, mustang190, spindrift and 14 others Thank this. -
"I am a Truck Driver"......sounds fine to me. BTW.....your friend the "consultant" .........he is a Salesman.
