Another pileup on I-80 in Wyoming

    yes it is. The expense of the snow fencing along that 77 miles stretch of highway is unbelievable... Look on some of the ridges, and you will see 4 rows of snow fences, going back about a mile from the highway trying to help keep the road open...and the ranchers love the annual lease payments for the land those snow fences are using.

    It should have never ever been built there. They can't even bypass it now. They had to have it their way.

    I wonder if 77 miles of snow shelter would be cheaper....over the next 100 years. Plus they would have bragging rights to the worlds longest tunnel

    very funny, then people could not see the wonderful view. I also have to wonder what kind of shelter could stand up to hurricane force winds? It is not just the snow, but those winds that cause problems....
