If only the Super Truckers understood that. You can't blame some of the S&R's for assuming EVERY driver is a douchebag. I have had enough bad experiences that I could count on one hand out of THOUSANDS!

 

I have been in and out of docks loading and unloading going all the way back to the 80s. There are a lot of Drivers, Law Enforcement types, and dock workers that are 100% Richard Craniums! It's impossible to not have to deal with one. Still, as a driver, your best bet is to stay nice. Stay calm and fight that urge to bash someone's head through a block wall!

 

That's good advice. Hitting people doesn't make them smarter. It just confuses them.

 

Yes......It is expensive to repair block walls.

 

Yes I hear you brother sometimes it goes both ways if we are pleasant to them then we should be getting the same good natured response back, personally I've never had a bad encounter with security or the police as I've always co-operated and not objected to the inquiry's as they are after all just doing their job's too. Now receiving and dispatch they are a whole different breed of individuals.

 

When I did local deliveries there were two places with women receivers that were just full blown man haters.

I set a goal for myself to not only get along with them, but befriend them.

Never happened, but I always walked away smiling.

Whatever some #### head's problem(s) are, they're their problems not yours.
