    is it metal..??

if so, you can buy an extendable magnet at places like Home Depot, Lowes and nearly any automotive store like Pep Boys, Napa, etc, etc.

if it's plastic, get a long wooden dowel, chew some gum, stick it onto the stick, and go fishing.???

If it can’t be reinstalled or easily removed, I’d leave it there and install a new one. Also, did you accidentally push it in? If not, someone probably stole some fuel. I hear that’s what they do.

My old international had 2 in one tank. I could see them when the fuel level was low with a flashlight. Never caused a problem. Just put a new one on and fagedabowdit.

It isn't going to hurt anything but if u want it out run until your low on fuel and find a way to lean the truck to what every side to tank is and and go fishing
