Not sure what they are to cheap about.
Con-way truckload is not in business to be a driver mill, what the do want are the best trained drivers they can.
Sorry to hear that your off on a bad track.
Why not try using the chain of command, doors are not locked to drivers.
The Fleet Managers have bosses that you can speak to, their is a Retention Manager in Drivers services building that you can speak to, there are Safety and Ops Managers and Directors that will speak with you, and yes, even the Prez will talk to you, he may not be avail the moment you want, but he will speak with you in time.

Also, if you pick up a copy of the Con-way Truckloads DriveLine news letter you'll read about Crocodile recently wining the Missouri State Truck Driving Championships for Sleeper Berth Class, representing Con-way Truckload.
Croc runs team with his wife, but is also a Finisher, so he has a wealth of info regarding those programs.

When you get hired on, make sure to ask, it might or might not be brought up in Orientation. Con-way has a portion of their website for active drivers.
Can download paystubs, see current and past pay periods, fuel mileage, miles, company newsletter, recruiting info, a bunch of helpful stuff.
