If they had a half hour towing and recovery class at Dons that would be pretty sweet as well. Be come an expert tow man in one half an hour session. Don pulls out all the stops to show you how it's done!

I bet they are those really tiny semi's like Coca Cola drives sometimes.Mike2633 Thanks this.

They are, Don there has a nice fleet of Freightliner FL70's totally outfitted for beverage hauling. He has them hooked to just like cardfan said a single axle goose neck flatbed trailer.
The trucks are 6 speed Alison push button autos so you won't have to worry about any pesky shifting, you'll be in high demand as a CDL A driver except you'll have that pesky manual transmission restriction on your license to deal with. -
Averitt hires manual restrictions, I heard.Mike2633 Thanks this.

It's a good program.
Don spends 2 hours on the pre trip examination which is plenty of time plenty of time.
Then you get to spend 2 hours backing the truck up in there parking lot. Don sets up some cones gives you some pointers and tells you to get it done.
Then after that you go out on the road and drive to the MO fairgrounds where you stop at the MO State Police post there and they administer your CDL test. In and out in 7.5 hours. -
They might a lot of companies are going over to automatics and I've said this for a couple years now you watch with in the next decade manual transmission trucks will be a thing of the past. I know there pushing for "autonomous" cars and trucks I don't think were quite there yet, but manual transmission trucks will eventually go the way of the dinosaur.

Since when is there a tranny restriction on a cdl? That's bs, or am I missing something? Lol, its been years since I got my class A. BTW, autos do suck. -
never heard of restriction and automatics are nice in stop and go traffic less stress on the left knee
