    Wondering how the dry van is at mercer? What kind of loads u getting? And are you making any money? Thanks for any info u can help me with.

    I M currently with mercer pulling dry vans. It's not bad at all and you can pick and choose your own loads. I have a coordinator that offers me loads as well. They don't have all the fees that I had at landstar. They have same purchase programs as landstar. Mercer pays your fuel taxes and I get better fuel discounts as well. You also get to build equity in a trailer purchase.

    It's not about the miles because you get paid percentage so it's not about the miles . The trailer payment is 435 plus 100 escrow a month.

    I'm a dry van operator at mercer as well. And I second everything you posted here. I'm making all the money I want to make and go anywhere I want. Not thrilled about wait times to load and unload but that's an industry wide problem.
