HI
Wondering if there are any other companies out there offering the extended hometime options like Roehl has.
They have 7/7, a 14/7 and I think 7/4-7/3.
Has anyone heard of anyone else offering this type of thing ?
Seems like it might be a good idea !
thanks

Schneider offers some split home time as well depending on where you live, areas ran and loads hauled.

Marten has a 7 on/7 off as well as a 6 on/3 off depending on where you live. Different terminals also have different options depending.

thanks guys for quick replies !
I ran for Marten in 2005, they were ok to work for. I left because I never got home.

Knight has the same set up also I think

Just be carefulith these options. The 7/7 would make you a part time employee and therfore not eligible for medical benefits.
pes2 and drivenaway Thank this. -
I know of a regional carrier in my area that does the 7/7 slipseat. Davis Express is the name, they run SE. Downfall is your counted as a "part time" employee so no benefits and probably less pay. Its an ideal schedule if you could make it full time somehow.

Are you in FL or NY?
I just saw an ad for Ruan Transportation terminal in Wilton NY advertising a similar split seat position.
I also thought a 14/7 schedule would be a great option, but not too many choices in Albany NY.
