I don’t understand puts and calls a s all that crap. I’m in the market long . And like 2 months ago I couldn’t take the heat a d put almost everything in cash .

I’ve still got a ton of Oracle and smaller positions in Ford ,Tesla and Martin Marietta. But everything else was sold. Still made over 4K Friday for a change. Total for the year is very good tho. And the 600 down days don’t bother me as much now ….

They have turned the market into organized gambling……

 

Traded options into being an MC and keep far away from it now so I don't give it all back. When you know you're a degenerate you've got tk keep yourself in check or risk losing everything.

 

TD Bank, Enbridge and Suncor pay pretty good dividends.

 

Right now through about next September 2023 is a good time to be invested. Have your finger on the escape button right before the election season kicks off. I see a lot of things that remind me of 1998 all over again, such a banner year. My portfolio had gains in the 48% that year. Times like these come around very rarely and they leave very quickly, but savvy folks can cash in!

 

I've had good luck with Charles Schwab. I had the same broker for twenty years and when he retired his daughter took over a lot of his accounts. I'm doing better with her than I did with her Dad.
The only drawback to Schwab is that unless you keep at least a half a mil in your account and churn it frequently they don't take you seriously. My broker and I talk at least once a week and if things are moving we might talk every day. I like that kind of attention and I really like the results.
