Yeah what he said...but also my buddy started with central 6 months ago, drives a NICE red pete! and averages 850 take home every week!

now would i work for central if they had the same amount of freight running through missoula(home) as WS......NO!

from what he tells me, he gets big miles and big money....but he also gets a big nameless company feel....he is just a number!...no rapore!

Take my CDL test on Tuesday. I have the driving and the backing down, just trying to get the pretrip down now. Fun fun.

WOO Hoo got my CDL today. Called up Kristy in Missoula afterwards. Orientation date is set for the 28th of November. So now im being told I need to have access to Canada. Problem is I got a DUI in 1996, and Canada views DUI's as a felony. So now im hoping I can get a waiver to gain access to Canada before then. Has anyone here ever had to deal with this?

Are they aware of this DUI from '96? I have one from the late 80's, they had me call a number (canadian customs/border I think). Told them the circumstances of the DUI, they asked a few questions about the time between then and me calling. Said I was good to go. Unless you are out of one of the border states terminals, you won't see Canada.

doh...see now you're out of Oak Harbor..home terminal would be Lakewood. Lakewood has drivers that go to Canada, 3 of them, so again you won't see Canada.

Thanks Axe, I will try to give Canadian customs a call today and see where that gets me. Although I more then likely wont be going to Canada it is a prerequisite for new hires. I was told I wouldnt be hired unless I was able to enter. Would have been nice if they would have told me this 3 weeks ago when i first got my intent to hire, so I wasnt crunched for time.

They didn't ask for written proof that I was clear for Canada, took my word for it, but again mine was so long ago.

Well I am Back and have read your wonderful post on Me. I hate to brust your post but I am doing just fine with my new job here at CR England and do not Need to wine or Complain And I do like the post about Red soxs Hat You can Stick it. As Far as personality I can see y most drivers talk on their Cellphones and do not post on these forms, or hang out at Truck stops. There too Bessy doing pretrips and driving. to Deal with others BS

When will you realize that we, nor anyone else, cares about you, your thoughts, your job, your spirituality, your sexual preference, your choice of (crappy) teams, or anything or anyone remotely related or tied in down the line with you. Go away. No one cares.:yes2557::biggrin_25516::biggrin_25513:
