Hello again everyone, I have a S&S not to far from me and I have seen good and bad reviews of them
including people leaving for other schools. Anyone have any recent experience with them? I don't mind
driving to a different school that is farther away since I am looking to drive for a living but if S&S is a good
school it would be the easiest for me to attend. Thanks

Also should I be overly concerned with this? Are all the schools the same in the fact that they just help you
get a CDL and the actual training comes from whatever company you find work with? Or are some schools
    a mistake? Thanks

In 2006 I went to the S&S school in southern new jersey (now closed) It seemed they taught more on how to get your CDL than drive a truck. Plenty of class room time, behind the wheel time not so good. Most of the class room stuff they taught you was pretty much hands on, common sense stuff. Basically, all you had to do was pay attention. I would say 80% of the students got their CDL on the first try. You stayed in the school until you get your cdl, no many how many times you flunked. They had recruiters there from some of the big carriers guaranteeing you a job when you got your cdl. The recruiters, (all former truck drivers) gave a good description of what to expect when working for their companies. S&S also guarantees you a job upon graduation. Good luck!

Yes sorry, thats where i got my cdl.make sure you learn how to drive manual, dont fall for that auto bs or youll get a restriction on your license.S&S sucked,Winsors wasnt as bad but all youll learn is how to pass the cdl test.Winsor had 1 0r 2 instructors who gave a dam for the most part and were helpful, the owner is a moron.

I went to their Bordentown school, it was mostly a place to get a cdl, not to learn how to drive a truck. It's"commercial driver training" not a "driving school"
