There is a driving School in the Bronx on gun hill Rd if u qualified it free u can also pay out of pocket they have certain packages u can choose from

 

Hey Unknownz I am from NY also , the School off of Linden Blvd is called Ferrari .
They're kinda pricey and they train you in automatic trucks ,you have to pay extra for manual . The School on Gun Hill Road Is Called Al Soranos Truck Driving School ( 718-547-3000 ) the truck is a 10 speed ,its 10 Lessons for $ 1040 and $ 60 For the Road test .
If I dont get hired by Prime Inc the school that I plan on going to is Called Ena's Driving School ( 718-847-2222 ) . They're located in Jamaica Queens , the truck is a 13 speed ,Its 10 Lessons for $ 1000 and 40 For the road test .

 

Oh yeah by the way , Study for the CDL test's on your own ! There are study guides on you tube and practice exams on this website , save your money for the driving lessons .

 

What about going to long island and checking out Commercial Driver Training?

 

i dont know, however they are established, not fly by nite. I say this because i went there 36 years ago and they are still going stong. they were also an hour away as i lived in sheepshead bay brooklyn at the time.

 

They have a class for the permit. The truck is a single axel six speed with a 40 foot trailer. After all lessons and road tests I had probly spent about 2000 on the school
