I bought one that it is water proof and I am loving it.
Here it is the link for it:

I stick with combat boots bought out of the local Army/Navy store. I need good ankle support, due to a variety of stupid activities when I was much younger (used to sprain my ankle outrunning dinosaurs), so having that high upper works for me. Plus, most places I show up at see the boots and make a presumption they are steel-toed. Saving me having to dig out the actual steel toed shoes that are buried somewhere in my truck, and haven't been seen in a month and a half.

77Martin posted he buys Justin slip on work boots...100 bucks maybe less at Tractor Supply...
Get a steel toed boot that covers the ankles. I bought mine at Walmart. Slip on boots are much more convenient than lace up boots.Skydivedavec and luvtotruck Thank this. -
I only wear boots if I have to walk thru snow. Any other times my Vans work just fine and are much more comfy.

Wal Mart sells a Steel toed Shoe for about $30.00 I use them when the guard tells "if you enter the warehouse we require you to have steel toed shoes" so I carry those in the truck and dig them out when needed, if not it is my Tennis shoes. or other boots.

I get Red Wing shoes & boots. Yeah they're a little pricey, but when I was a lot heavier than I am now I could still get a couple years wear out of them...so it wasn't too bad in the long run. Plus I like the fact that a lot of their styles are still made in the U.S. Those are the ones I look for & buy.

Justin double comfort slip on boots. They are just what it says. They come in steel toe and non steel toe.

If you can't go that route, I suggest duty boots, like the police wear. They like 'em for a reason.
