I was going through various boots from Walmart and Farm and Fleet every few months til I got a pair of Redwings, I've had them a couple years now and don't see them failing anytime soon.
Any suggestions for boots or good shoes?

I have 2 pair of shoes.
My Danner hiking boots - not steel toes, but they look like it. So that is what I wear when steel is required, or when in deep snow or mud.
And my sneakers, Nike Air 'something', that like to squeak when I walk. I'll not be sneaking up on anything with these. -
