Apparently Schneider likes the kind of liftgates that consist of the guide rails welded right to the door jamb and slide straight up and down. This exposes the pintle hook and air lines, and allows a liftgate trailer to be in the front.Mike2633 Thanks this.

Schneider has separate final mile terminals now. They run box trucks out of those terminals for the final mile. There is one in Memphis, on in MO around St. Louis somewhere and they were opening one around Orlando when I left Watkins. These are for the wayfair, overstock, and amazon furniture home deliveries. The trucks will deliver to these terminal while on LTL loads. They still do the small stores but they are really pushing the e-commerce.
