It would seem that to file a claim you must have documentations where you tried to correct a faulty or wrong background report to HireRight Solutions, Inc. (HireRight Solutions) "after February 2, 2008 but before August 31, 2010".
The time line on statutory of limitations is very strict as with myself I was dealing with USIS Corp. who changed their name to HireRight Solutions, I had at least 10 bad reports with different trucking companies till I tried a prerequisite administrative action to correct the bad reports with the next step is a law suit, USIS totally ignored all my administrative action which was prepared by a paralegal with 10 formal years of court litigation action that's ME, more to follow. -
Ctops look at the link posted here and follow the information. If you were even listed in any of their "reports" you would have gotten a letter fromthe lawyers. IDK about any limitations because this goes back more than any 2 years.http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...ckers-news/153041-james-ryals-jr-et-al-v.html

The judge in the case against Maverick ruled that you have two years from the time you discover the bad information to file suit. It doesn't matter when they put it on there.
-
Or did you hear it in court, I'm sorry who is Maverick ? -
@kajidono
What your saying is contrary to what the class attorney told me yesterday, what was the date 2/2/2008 - 8/31/2010, my action was filed 8/07 and it was pending, let me check Westlaw and see if there is some caselaw to support. -
Maverick is a trucking company that recently lost a lawsuit like this one over information on a driver's DAC report. It was just a few months ago.
There are many more links if you search for "maverick DAC lawsuit." I had the time from when you notice it wrong. -
A trucking Co. filed a law suit over one of it's drivers ?, must have been the owner, abandonment of the truck (if it happened) does go on the DAC Report for life, I know here a few people that work in safety @ Landstar.
DAC as far as I have read into this case is not involved, thanks for the response. Oh i just looked the Maverick case is a state civil case and very rare, most states have a right to work law, the courts most HATE truck drivers and this guys is really blacklisted NOW except it's all hush hush like the way the trucking co's discriminated overly obese applicants and people on the sex offender registry,Last edited: Aug 23, 2011

It doesn't look you've read anything at all on either case...
