My customers gave me the best bonus that I could ask for...they paid their bills on time.

We, on the other hand, passed out a few bottles of firewater, a couple of hundred pounds of deer jerky, some smoked duck, and an actual live goat to our customers.

No big deal. One of our long standing farm customers throws a big barbecue every year and one of the favorites on the menu is cabrito. Their old nanny goat died this year so we looked around and found a freshly settled mama goat to replace her with.
If our math works out right she ought to supply the baby goat just in time to feed it up for the barbecue.

That’s more for a local driver. I used to get hundreds of dollars every Christmas from my trash customers.
I would like to suggest. Only thought of this when giving big tips for Christmas. That is to give only cash for a tip at a restaurant. So they don’t have to pay income tax on it. Even then. Lady here in Penn. She said they automatically take 12% of the sales they serve. Then have to pay tax on any more than that.

I delivered to a chewing gum plant several years ago somewhere in Georgia. They gave me a box of assorted Wrigleys. I mean a BOX, like a shipment that would be going to a Wal Mart. I chewed that stuff for years and still have a few packs left (that I should probably toss at this point).

Lots of freebies over the years for sure. Not a coffee drinker but coffee warehouses usually have a pallet of overages or slightly damaged packages of coffee free for the taking available to drivers.

Before Corona we used to get flats of commercial packaged brownies and cinnamon rolls from General Mills.

Our gift from the company this Christmas was a $25 wally gift card, which beats the $10 pilot card we got for driver appreciation week.
