If you fail the written test three times, you give up on trucking. If you can't pass the writtein test in three tyrs you will never pass pretrip or get to skills or road. The written test is by far the easiest part of getting a CDL
Anyone know what happens if you fail written test 3 times in PA?

What everyone else said. You need to study. Just keep taking practice test after practice test.

I heard if you fail 3 times, they take you out back and shoot you. I could be wrong though.
DustyRoad, Skate-Board, Dark_Majesty_06 and 1 other person Thank this. -
This one will only apply to those with a good memory.
"At least this way you won't have to worry about getting put with that FAT, STINKY, trainer who doesn't BATHE, and SMOKES . . . . "
I don't know why that stuck in my mind - maybe because a lot of people objected to it, and it was a closed thread really REALLY quickly.
Good luck. -
Yup! Many trucking schools have transcripts that can be faxed to the trucking company...Those are part of the certificate of completion at a state approved third party tester. The Test at the the OMV is only pass or fail....and you are correct it is not available to companies.
Thanks... -
I agree the school will share information because the students sign a release and it is to their advantage, it is a good thing. As I have learned on this forum there is no consistency from one state to another, that's a bad thing. It seems that some states don't use a third party test system, it is done by the DMV, that is a bad thing.DustyRoad Thanks this.

I think they either shoot you or give you 2 years in the pen to study for it.
