Hauled a few loads of cement to a place right off of it. Still a couple terminals on the little stretch I was on. DOT has been known to throw portables out there sometimes as well.

Ahhh haven't been in that area in about 10 years but last time I was it was deteriorating and wondered if it has cleaned up.

Doesn't look the nicest but have definitely been in worse. Lol

That adalaide area used to be a nice area ..shame how it went to hell .

It hasn't gotten any better at all. Still a cesspool of humanity. My drop yard is near there. They still have not fixed that road in 10 years. Feels like I 70 in indiana going down it. The area at the end down by loves is a little better then the other end but still pretty trashy

JBHunt and Roadrunner have terminals up in there just beyond that little cat scale truck stop. That whole neighborhood has potential to be beautiful. It is sad to see such creeping urban rot going on. Imagine 100 years ago it was a nice place.

A good place to get shot at night, that's about it. Oh, maybe lose a tooth or two on the railroad tracks. Still a couple of the big LTL companies down there though.

Last time I was on Hall St. Was about 15 years ago when I drove for Clark bros. Out of Norfolk ne and they had a terminal there .
Pulled in there one nite to swap trailers and the locals were crowded around a 55 gallon drum burning what smelled like tires .
After I noticed a good sized rat crawl out of a hole in the terminal building wall that expressed no fear of me I decided East St Louis didn't seem so bad after all as a camping spot for the night . -
