So I was heading west bound on 76 on the PA Turnpike. Had taken a load of wheat glutton to Lancaster and was heading to reload just south of Chicago. I'd not gotten to the first of the four tunnels, I don't think. It's been a couple weeks since this incident happened.

Anyhow, there was a Werner truck and another truck in the left lane. Neither one had a blinker on like they were trying to get back over in the right lane. So there were cars passing on the right. I stayed in the left lane for a second and then put my blinker on and was gonna go by them on the right. Some drivers do just hang in the hammer lane for whatever reason.

About that time the non Werner truck just whipped right into the right lane. Thank goodness the driver of the mini van reacted fast enough and had enough shoulder to get off the road. And didn't hit the guard rail.

I jumped on the CB and was like damnn driver you almost smashed that mini van. This dude then proceeds to flip out. Told me that's what he wanted. He's sick of all the four wheelers running up on his right. Then he told Werner he could get over. Neither one of them used a blinker, BTW. So after he made the remark about not caring, I responded with the fact he could have killed an entire family. He cursed at me making no point, really. I told him that I hope LEOs get called on his ####. He then proceeded to call me every name under the sun and explain what he would do to me. I made the comment that he won't pull over in the next emergency parking spot they have. He just continued flipping out so I turned my CB off and waited. He drove right by the next pull off. So I passed him and tried to find a number on his truck or trailer. Nothing. He wouldn't even look over when I drover by.

RTI Transportation out of KC was on the truck. Information had no listing. I googled it but only came up with Riverside Transportation but there was no number. Of course, all the way to Lancaster there were Troopers running radar but on the way back I didn't see any or I was going to stop and tell them a truck coming did such and such.

I was and still am completely shocked that a driver would act in such a way. That mini van could have had a mom and four kids in it. And he didn't give a flying f&*k what happened to them. If you are not going to signal your intentions, how are you suppose to let anyone know what the heck you're doing?

That driver will kill someone someday.....

Raider, you are nicer about it than I would have been, I would have called the cops and followed the guy until they caught up with him. I would have told the dispatcher "I just saw a trucker try to kill a family, He has admitted it to me that it was intensional, and here is where he is"

I know, I have told myself 1000 times since then I should have called the police and continued following him. Everything happened fairly quickly and his mouth was so bad I probably would have let him try to kick my butt if he'd have pulled over.

I regret not calling and following up on what happened cause he very well will probably kill someone one day with that type of attitude. I hope I never see a driver act like that again....if so, I know I'll handle the situation a bit more aggressively.

also turning on the video recorder on your cell phone is a great idea too. I don't know how many times that has helped my case when dealing with the police when towing cars.

Also go to www.copblock.org and download the app they have for your phone, it will stream what ever you are recording, so it does not matter if you have your phone taken from you and destroyed.

I'm sick of them 4wheelers so I'll kill them.

Someone needs to get that idiot out of that truck. It's amazing how road rage gets one's goat. We know it's wrong to pass on the right, but so what? Is it really that big of a crime to warrant a death sentence? You get mad for them passing on the right because you might not see them and kill them. So what do you do? You deliberately try to kill them in a rage. Makes alot of sense.

He won't make it long. Like you said a turn signal goes a long way. I've called on 3 drivers in 15 years. He would of been #4.

My solution was to install several LED turn signal lights down the side of my truck, and to use them, it is amazing how much it cuts down on people trying to pass you on the right when you are wanting to come over.
