I mention on my application that I've had 3 accidents in the past 3 years however only one is on my DAC, my MVR is clean, and I don't know whether I'm shooting myself in the foot or not by mentioning these accidents because I don't know exactly when they happened.
So if i mention 3 accidents, and i'm way off on the dates, and they see the one on my dac, if the date's don't line up are they counting that as 4 ?

oh and 2 were preventable but one was not.

1. If they don't have a problem with three accidents they probably aren't going to be too picky about the dates.
2. It's not just your DAC you have to worry about. Insurance companies have their own databases. If you leave out an accident and your potential employer finds out about it you're done. The only time it's o.k. to leave an accident off your application is if you're POSITIVE there's no record of it. I know of drivers who have had accidents that weren't reported ANYWHERE. After getting hired 3 or 4 times and being told there was no record of the accidents they put on their apps they quit putting them on their applications. Capisce?Last edited: May 27, 2021
jmz and slow.rider Thank this. -
apply for a company you have no interest in working for that does a good background and record check, dont put anything down an wait to see what they tell you they came up with on your background check that you didnt put on the app.then put that on your future apps.

Get a copy of your Dac, Psp and your mvr so you will know what is on it and the correct dates.
