At work tonight I was in a truck with no heated mirrors, and it didn't take long for the freezing mist to ice them over. I want to get my cdl soon and drive for real, not in a parking lot, and I'm curious if newer trucks have them as standard equipment.

Most highway trucks I ever drove had them. City trucks, not so much.

LOL. You know, it's the darndest thing. I've driven trucks just few years old, and they didn't work, and I recently drove an old Pete cabover as a yard horse, and guess what worked.:dontknow:

Not only are my door mirrors heated (both sides, and both convex mirrors) but my hood mirrors are heated as well...but my seat isn't, and my sensitive fanny gets cold :D

My next truck is getting heated floor boards. I got heated mirrors and heated seats. But nothing sucks more than getting out of the nice toasty warm bed and putting your feet on an ice cold floor at 4 am.

Heck even the old yard dog I drove at my last job had heated mirrors. Didn't work of course, but it had them lol.

Don't forget heated wiper blades. I thought of that years ago. Now I see them advertised. #### good idea

Or some sort of "popper" to knock ice off.
