Seriously? I have had a Tesla model s for 4 years now never froze on me or had to go into a shop. It really is a car built for perfection. I doubt it would freeze.
Are the newer trucks really that bad, no longevity anymore?

The real issue with Tesla’s is charging time. Tesla’s at home take 9.5 hours to fully charge or 90 minutes at a supercharge place. That’s okay for cars. But not for rigs. We have places to go and we don’t need 2 hours of waiting to mess up our 14 hour clock. Granted there are work arounds such as shutting down at a supercharge spot and topping off at the end of the day but sometimes the way your load is scheduled that’s not possible to plan on.

I'm wondering when someone is going to start a thread named, "Are the older trucks really that good?" LOL
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I realize there can be problems with any truck. I'm driving a brand new 2019 KW T680. I pulled the plastic off the seats and we are on our maiden trip. I made it about 2200 miles and got the dreaded "Red Stop Engine Light", and the "Yellow check engine light". Truck is currently at a KW dealer. I have been down now for 9 days and the problem has yet to be found. Codes indicate a fuel pressure issue. Since it's a warranty issue, KW is involved and Paccar is involved. So I don't have an answer to the OP questions, but this is really frustrating with a brand new truck. Thought I would share.
