Are these two reefer companies good?

Magnum is excellent, but they don't go southwest. You'll get the occasional OR/WA load, but they have absolutely nothing to do with CA/NV/AZ/NM.
Holland Enterprises is another outfit out of Fargo. They seem to be one of the last true "long haul" companies. Excellent equipment, long miles, and they go everywhere.
Also I hear FCC, Climate Express, and Abilene all go west as well.
Only problem I see is that you only have 6mo under your belt. Most of the "better" places require at least 1yr or more before they'll consider you.

I'll second Leonard's Express. I live in Florida and I make it out to the PNW regularly.

Just be aware that while your free to leave the company at any point your obligation to pay back any fees associated with the CDL training will still be required to be paid back to Schneider.

Thanks for the info. I might e-mail Magnum first and see what's up. My only issue i see is my lack of experience. However I won't have much of an issue waiting if that's the case. My one year anniversary would be on June 1st of next year, which doesn't seem that far away to be honest.

I'll admit that I've looked into K&B a little bit. I've seen some of their equipment on the road and they look to be fairly decent. They give off mega carrier vibes though, which is what I'm trying to avoid.

I'm fully aware of that. The deal between the CDL school and Schneider was only for 3 months, which has since passed. Schneider has already paid my CDL school their portion, so I'm no longer tied to Schneider.
