Of O/O's? Fuel prices up over a dollar since I got home 10 days ago. Haven't really looked at rates, but some email offers I've received haven't gone up.
Already bad may have just gotten worse
Are we fixing to see a huge purge in trucking?

Where are you seeing fuel up a buck? I'm in the Southeast and I just looked at my TCS app, just about the same as last week, 3.80-3.90ish where I fuel.
-
Fuel jumped in the Midwest supposedly because a Phillips 66 refinery shut down. Went up 60 cents from morning until evening at the Coffee Cup in Vivian the other day.
-
Lots of prices in Arkansas and Oklahoma up 60-70 cents.
I saw fuel as cheap as 3.69 coming across Oklahoma a week and a half ago. They're 4.49 today. Hadn't heard of the refinery issue. -
Ouch. As few miles as i've been running I can generally fuel once leaving home and make it back in, hope I can keep on for awhile.

Wish my bank account rose so fast and fell so slow. -
As of today, we are seeing $4.29 average across the fleet, with California being the only exception.

Been around 4.50 in Tejas were it is always the cheapest nation wide. We had our annual truck show this past Saturday. Entries were about half as many as usual. 53 total. Its free show for entry and spectators but still a Very slow day. Gas and fuel prices i’m sure keeping people from traveling. A few of the old posse left early to pick up a local hay load to pay for the fuel back to the house. Lol

I know bunch of people in Detroit who are in trucking and everyone is worried. Well, guys with paid off equipment and no drivers are worried (including me of course), but guys with multiple financed trucks and hired drivers, are straight up in panic mode. Nobody is turning a profit right now, everyone is negative. Things were already slow even before, but now the UAW strike is hitting everyone very hard.
Vampire, jamespmack, 77fib77 and 8 others Thank this.
