Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.
-
CSR is an onging prob. Its not uncommon to be sent the wrong pu #. Last week was a good example. Del in Austin about 1700. CSR had customers old addy and 555 555 5555 as phonecon. I follow gps to addy,no joy. Look up number using my phone and call for dir.they were on the other side of Austin and now the ld is late and more time has been pissed away from my hos.
Are they lazy or incompetent? -
Home this weekend.miles have improved.they maxed my 70 for the first time on elogs. Tulsa to bakersfield. Reload in los angeles for denver. Denver to GP.
A fleetwide msg from apr 7 says ATS will be announcing details on pay pkg upgrades and incentives. More info soon.... -
Mon was another csr snafu.wrong pu # for my HM ld in Hou.time lost off my clock
Due to csr. I called csr dept and tried to patiently explain how little errors
On their part make my day xtra special. If you dont have time to do it right
The first time, when will you have time to do it over? That was my question to them.
On another issue, Arnold drivers need to check the route given vs shortest way.
My route from Houston to Midland was by way of Ft Worth... -
I have never followed Arnold's routing...going back to June of 2010. I always go the quickest way. A lot of times their route has you take US Highways. I just take the interstates unless my pickup or drop is way off the interstate. But I always try to make their fuel stops unless I don't like their fuel solution then I call fuel department and request authorization to fuel at which ever truck stop I like. I usually try to pick one's I'll be stopping at for the night. They try to intimidate the drivers into thinking we must fuel at their stops on the fuel solution dispatch. They Ialso try scaring drivers into thinking they must follow their routing specifically to a t. Yes sometimes their routing is the shortest route...but it also is usually longer by a few hours atleast than if you would route yourself. I take my own routes and they don't say anything about it as long as I fuel within the network even if I changed my original fuel stops. It also helps that I haven't had a service failure since I started in 2010. It isn't a bad company to work for despite all the whining people do on this site about the company. Sure it has its good parts n bad parts. No company is perfect just as no driver is perfect. You just have to find what company fits you n your preferences and make a go at it. But sitting here complaining about your company doesn't do any good lol. If you're that unhappy why don't you try finding another job? You are getting mad at things beyond your control. Just try and relax and breath. I haven't had the issues with csr that you describe but I also run out of Jacksonville. Only times I've gotten all 5's or all 0's in my load info on the customer is when's it's a new customer to Arnold or if it's a hated broker load. I've somehow in almost 4yrs been lucky enough that I've never had to stop by or go to the grand prairie terminal for anything.
-
But you have 15yrs experience and live in Oklahoma City...you can get just about any job you want. So why stay at Arnold after all the crap I've been reading you complain about? I mean currently I'm back in the Florida panhandle...and there are very very few companies that hire from my area...so feel lucky that if things get too bad for you, you can always get another job fairly quickly because you live in a big trucking area. But I do hope things start turning around for you and start getting better for you whether it's with Arnold or elsewhere. How long have you been driving for Arnold?
-
Ive been here a bit over 2 yrs. There has
Always been a big difference GP vs JAX.
Things have improved on the miles side with
the HM acct.
The main things keeping me from making a
Move are health ins and the iffy state of
The US economy. If things go hot in the
Ukraine, it wont matter anyway... -
Do any of you guys work, or know anything about the Dilley TX oilfield operation with Arnold. I'm due for orientation on Wednesday to start out there. It's sand hauling. Just curious if any of you are out there or know anything about it. Thx.

Ive only read the poster on the wall in the brrakroom.
If i recall right, it seemed pretty cheap pay compared
To the hourly that i see advertised by other oil
Outfits. What if you are camped out at a wellsite?
Do you go pn the clock or os it detention based like otr?
It would help if you could talk with a driver thats been
On the acct...unloader Thanks this. -
