Nobody will mess with you. They won't have enough backup.

Hey Ironpony, once I obtain my CDL permit out of Colorado, will I be able to keep my Colorado driver license or will i have to replace it with the MO one? After I have completed the CDl test at Prime.

You'll get a CDL issued from MO. They try to get you guys routed to your home state to transfer the license as soon after its issued with your TNT trainer as they can. You'll need something DMV will accept with your home address on it - I was surprised that they'd take your med card for that. If you have your hazmat clearance, its a good time to take the test as well. Colorado will take 45 to 90 days to get your hard-copy.

Wow, seems to be more of a hassle. Maybe i would be better off attending a CDL school in Colorado and once I get my CDl, then go to prime for the TNT training. What do you think Ironpony? Thanks for your help.

It's no big deal getting your license changed over. I went to SAGE in Henderson. While they are am excellent school as driving schools go, I think you'd be better served going to PSD at Prime. If I had it to do over, I would go to PSD.

    rockabilly2272 Thanks this.

You pass PSD and you are a garauntee hire.

Rumor is there is a hiring freeze here at Prime for outside school grads with little or no experiance. Things like this happen, usually only a few months, but you never know.

I've said it before, and ill say it again. I really wish I had gone through the PSD program. Top notch in my book.

Good morning. My wife and I went to Prime's open house last Saturday and toured the facility. Very impressive. I start with Prime on June 12th. While at springmo we looked at both Cascadia condos and Cascadia lightweights. If you are planning on cooking your own meals while on the road how much more difficult is that in a lightweight since there is less room and cabinet space? Thanks. BTW. I have read so many Prime threads on here I think my eyes are bleeding. I appreciate the honesty of the drivers that are willing to share the positive and negative of Prime and life on the road.

PSD is a great program. Plus you get a 10,000 mile credit towards your tnt.
