I could do dollar general and then transfer yep, that’s a definite possibility at this point. I’ve never seen a tanker job listed in Vegas from SNI since I’ve been checking which is at least a few times week for some time now. I’m just contemplating what’s my best move now, good news is I should have at least some options.
I was just thinking about heading to Texas funny you say that. I actually would have gone today but had car troubles.
My prints only took a couple weeks I just haven’t taken the tests.

There was a disastrous thread going a few days ago because a guy job hopped a little and he was upset because nobody would hire him.
What was the purpose of moving to Vegas? If it were me I’d do whatever I had to do to get somewhere that puts you in a position to do something with Schneider that will eventually get you into tanker work with them. Let them train you on tanks, stay there a while and gain experience, then after a couple years you could probably have about any tanker job you want. -

Yeah the job market is pretty much garbage right now, so I’m hoping to avoid being a job hopper. I bet that guy is going to have a hard time finding any jobs.77fib77 Thanks this. -

I started work I worked for a Chicago 1099 company, 9 months. They wanted me to run like 18 hours a day. Paper logs. Then went to Texas hauled water. Boss was in trouble with IRS, checks started to bounce. 8 months. Got hired by YRC NY state. They told me 4 or 5 days a week of work. I got 1 or 2. Went back to Texas hauled crude oil for 9 months. Oil went from 130 a barrel to $28. Bought a truck leased on to Mercer. 2 years??? Truck blew up did coal city Cobb(hazmat tanker company) for 3 years total, 5 months as a company driver rest as an OO.
Then went landstar. Truck problems. After 3+ years.
Went back to a company driver. AIR Gas. Including commute. Was 75+ hours a week. Too many hours left after 6 months. Hauled sheet rock, again around 75 hours a week including commute. About 4 plus months I left. Bought a truck went back to Land Star. -
