Like was said hwy 20 is the best option but only if 285 is gridlock. Their are other ways but I wouldn’t use them if I was heavy. Hwy 53 is one and 146 I think is the other. I’d have to double check on that one for sure thou.

What they need to do to relieve a lot of the Atlanta congestion is to build a new interstate from I65 that ties in with I75 south of Atlanta. No Mont Eagle to deal with or Atlanta traffic! Just my opinion.

They should build roads with only 2 or 3 left lanes, instead of right AND left lanes, so everyone can use their smarthphone in peace.

Think teleportation technology. Imagine stopping in Cartersville at 06:00 and re-emerging in McDonough at 06:01 for a $50 "technology toll".

    No???

You are thinking of Dulles VA, I-66 during peak rush where cars have to pay a 60 dollar toll to get into DC Beltway from Manassas.

But yea you might have something there. If such a think is possible.

close to Chattanooga,Tn, take I-40 west.

south side of Atlanta, take I-20 to I-77.

I live in Charlotte,NC and use these routes, time permitting, they are a little further but far easier driving.
