Kind of hard to believe that Indiana is ... ranked #13. No way Jose!!! That state should be in it's own category..sheesh.

True that. It can happen any time, getting stopped, but the CHP are more concerned with risky or unsafe driving than they are in drivers earning a living. Most of the time. I think the CHP are rarely bored and looking for a stop. Whatever the reason, I agree that we can roll along at least 60 or 62 without a problem. Most of the time.

Dont forget those annoying signs, Patriot. I know it's a pain, but it really does help avoid problems if we read them, and then act accordingly. Some don't, I guess.

I agree about your "enemy state" comment, as well. We're Americans, our DOT's make their decision on what constitutes safe driving, and it's up to us to get on the bus with those procedures. ("on the bus," nice) Good, practical post, Patriot. Maybe if more drivers behaved like you, we wouldn't have "enemy states," "no trucks allowed," and "no truck parking" so much.

This is true and drivers would be respected more by others.
No one wants to talk about it but do you know non truckers and some truckers even, look down on the truck drivers in America because of the stupid and ignorant actions of far too many? Not only their driving but their actions outside of trucks. Was at a dinner/political meeting one night and I forget what brought up the discussion of truckers but then someone brings up the video that went viral of that truck driver taking a dump behind his fifth wheel. Another person stated "That is truckers for you" and a few more comments were added. Few even know that I drive to be quite honest.

    Yawn.
As @Starboyjim and @The Patriot have already stated - it's pretty easy to drive under the speed limit, and then all the facts and figures of which state is this and that become moot.

The few speeding tickets I've recieved have all been well deserved.
