no not an attitude problem, maybe an insurance problem for them?

maybe they had inconsiderate degenerates that defecated on thier property? maybe threw trash?

if past drivers showed NO RESPECT why should they?

there really is no reason to stay on private property.

Need to wear a sign when checking in..."I WON'T RUN OUT OF HOURS AND STAY ON YOUR PROPERTY IF YOU WOULD GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND LOAD ME A LITTLE FASTER"

Simple solution. I will not run out of hours on your property. I need to be rolling by X time, and since you WON'T let me stay here, my truck WILL roll out of here at that time, whether you're finished with me or not. If your guy happens to be inside the trailer when I pull out, I guess he's going along for the ride because like you said, I CANNOT stay here. In other words, it's in YOUR best interest to expedite this loading process.

This is a problem that must be solved by everyone in the industry, We know that many of those places are complete problems so you need to go in with plenty of hours to get the job done so that means proper planning, now if those places are constantly like that a refusal to pull those loads are in order by everyone, if the product is stuck on the dock they will be losing money and will fix the problem. The brokers who contract those loads need to put clauses in the contract that say it will take x numbers of hours or a surcharge will be enforced. There will be some drivers who do come in out of hours basically , they should be rescheduled until they have the proper hours. The hand holding and thinking for others must be stopped, we are professionals.

I love hanging out at the shipping office after I get loaded. I try to learn the secrets of the shipping pro’s by eavesdropping. Info like: how to take four hours to load twenty skids, how to screw up a P.O, how to time a break between loads to where I get held up longer. It reminds me of a MENSA convention.
