Drivers don’t realize the extent of damage they do to a small company with threads like this. Or maybe they do. I honestly felt sorry for the guy when he was here. You could instantly tell reefer life was not the life for him. Nothing against him it just is what it is. Clearly he recognized that as well since went back to yanking tankers

Did he mean mouth ya in person too, man to man, or did he just do it here under the veil of a computer screen? I don't mind mean mouthing in a review, or wherever, but I don't have much respect for the person if they don't also express their grievances in person.

he didn’t do or say anything to me. I’m just a driver that was trying to help him learn the ropes. I don’t really have a dog in this fight. I have no issue with posting a negative review or expressing frustration or issues. My thing is he painted this horrible picture about the company when the truth is 99% of what he said was BS and self inflicted. If you want to write a review or express a situation be truthful about it. People make job decisions based off reviews and threads like this so it needs to be accurate

last three years I’ve made over 100k. There are a few different pay plans. Salary $2k a week, CPM on w2 And a 1099 lease. Just depends on what you are looking for. Equipment is good. Most loads are over 1000 miles. FYI it is reefer freight usually meat out and produce back.

Oh trust me I've ran for Marten Transport. I'm not a rookie to the reefer game lol. I'm just asking because I'm curious.

Salary is 2K a week flat?

    What's the exact CPM?

1099? Oh no like Chicago white Volvo? Lol

The salary is 1600 base 200 safety 200 performance. W-2. As long as you are available to work and don’t tear up anything you’ll get the bonuses. Guys are running around 2500 miles a week it pays even on hometime. CPM I believe is .65 W-2 and depending on how hard you run 3500 miles a week is easily attainable. He does a lease for guys that want 1099. I’d have to check but I think it starts at 1.70 a mile. I usually run somewhere between 3-4000 miles a week depending on how the loads fall. They send me a dispatch and I don’t typically hear from anyone again till I’m empty. If you need to be told everything or otherwise need your hand held you will have a hard time here. The guys that are comfortable using their head and pay attention love it. We are all here to make money. Like bicycle guy said once we get to Cali and start picking up produce most of us run ag exempt and are able to get a 34 in while loading. .(it’s not required). We have guys that run nights because they prefer it however being a small company there isn’t someone in the office 24hrs so plan ahead. Equipment is T680s 500hp Cummins automatic double bunk inverter fridge table apu heated/cooled seats with utility thermoking reefers. Trucks are traded in before 500k. They do money codes for washouts lumpers and truck washes. Scales and small misc we pay for and get reimbursed. They do frown on buying oil/ coolant etc at truckstops as we have everything at the shop (restock the truck when you go to the yard). There is a ton of freedom here as long as you make your appointments and don’t tear up the equipment

I wasn’t trying to imply anything but I felt it should be said considering how this post started

Oh okay, I mistakenly thought you owned the company. I don't have an issue with anyone posting a negative review either if they're 100% truthful. However, that's often not the case here. They usually conveniently forget to post facts that don't fit their narrative (Like the 500 mile a day thing, etc..). That's why we're all happy when the owner or, as the case with you, another driver, comes in and gives both sides of the story.

p.s. When someone bashes a company (besides the well known Chicago scamsters), I'll usually ask them if they expressed their grievances to the company first.
