There HAS to be a company out there for you. If you were worthy enough to be licensed with a class A, then you better believe theres a company out there that will hire you. Maybe check with the 1099 outfits. Some companies will only want to make sure you have a valid CDL and social security number and thats it. Wont even have you fill out an app before they tell you youre hired. Being paid 1099 might not be ideal, but just make sure you set aside money for your taxes and retirement savings.

I ran across another person with a similar situation. In his particular case , he was on parole and needed permission each time he wanted to go outside a certain geographical area. No companies wanted to deal with that even though he had his class A. Perhaps this is the situation with the OP.

Call the 'second chance' companies. I know Western Express hires felons. I talked to one of their drivers a while back after we helped a tired newbie back their truck in between us. He seemed nice enough, and was very clear and accurate in his instructions to the driver as I watched blind side clearance.
I told him to apply to Crete. He said he had, but they wouldn't hire him because of a felony. But Western Express did.
I did not ask him what he was convicted of.
Another couple places to try. Carolina Cargo, and CR England. -
Swift does hire felons.
