Thank you @UturnGirl for the time taken to keep a running thread on your experience.

    I truly admire your determination.

I also appreciate the honesty - when you read the entire 48 pages, it presents a great picture.

Lots of helpful posts here, but as you said early on, it wasn’t about going back to the start and doing anything differently, it was a record of what actually transpired on your chosen path.

It reinforces my basic beliefs on what is required for a healthy, profitable start in this business - I’m no expert, I’ve only owned equipment for 3 years, but I’ve seen and heard enough in that time to be fairly solid on this.

I wish you good luck going forward.

    B.

The reason for the edit is very simple. You chose to use a word the profanity filter would catch, so you altered the word to circumvent the filter. By doing so, it gets me or one of the other staff members involved and we edit your word choice.

Memory issues? A bra in your lap will do you no good, you gotta use the straps.

But, at the end of the day ,it really doesn't matter how much grit or "can do" you have. If the business model is designed against you, it's unlikely that you will succeed.
    Always the best UTG.

I don't think the business model is necessarily designed "against" the driver. It's just designed for everyone involved to make as much profit as they can off the back of the driver. My Irish ancestors worked on the railroads and it was the same thing. But it worked for them as well if they were tough enough to survive it.

Again I want to thank everyone (almost) even you, spyder ") for chiming in. You're like my pals and it's great to have your cheers and jeers and most especially your company out here on the lonely road.
