Try to get out the truck and let it roll down a steep hill with the trainer asleep , after the truck makes it's final destination your trainer won't want to sleep while a student is driving any more

There's quitting because it's hard and there's quitting because your being abused. This guy is getting bent over. My guy this week can drive down the road like a pro (once I taught him about mountains), but can't back worth ####. We're extending his training because he can't back worth #### and he almost quit over it. If this 'trainer' (I use the word loosely) is getting out of the bunk to spot the trainee into a hole (or otherwise coach the trainee) he is breaking the HOS. I'm no saint, I broke the #### out of the HOS last night because I gave my guy 2 extra hours of backing time. If the 'trainer' isn't in a position to log on duty, then the 'trainee' should be getting paid full wages.Tb0n3, nredfor88, Another Canadian driver and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well explained.
He is not in training.
He is underpaid in a team operation.
I did training to new trainees and I know exactly what should occur.
My trainer, 21 years ago did the same to me.
3 weeks later I was out.
Not looking back with any emotion.
No regrets. I just said no to all of this.
Oh well...H3R3T1C Thanks this. -
He'll not learn anything. -
But, don't call him trainer.

You have a twisted sense of humor. -
Teaming is NOT training.
But you chose a start that included it. At this point do your best and finish. Always have the window cracked open. Try to sleep. Do you best to find healthy food, although that can be very difficult. Just do what you can in a bad situation.xlsdraw, training, Trucker61016 and 2 others Thank this.
