They pay me by the mile but they do offer salary. I make on average about 8-900 after taxes. Sometimes 1000. You just gotta speak up and tell them you want to run. Probably could make more if u do. They listen to you. They do have very high on time standards so don’t mess with that lol but overall a decent company to work for. But 1700? I talked to one driver who was doing that, but it’s not like it’s every driver and def not most.

I've been driving for Barr Nunn as a (Zone 6) driver since last November, it's what they call the OTR drivers. I'm out for 30 days (you can stay out as long as you want) and have 15 days off. They fly me to and from my home in South Florida. If you take the full 15 days off you'll have to slip seat, if you just take off a week you can keep your tractor. My net average is about $1100 to $1200 per week. You get a CSA bonus every 90 days as long as you have no moving violations or DOT violations. With hazmat your bonus is about $725 and $525 without hazmat. When you receive your safety bonus along with your weekly pay that's about the only time you'll bring home around $1700. You won't "average" $1700 in one week. I like it here, and they give extra bonuses as well I didn't know about. Give Michelle in recruiting a call. Information deleted. Hope this helps.

How many miles do you get? 2200-2400?

It depends, November through December I averaged 2500-3000 miles a week. January-February around 1800-2000 a week. Sometimes less than that. These last 4 weeks this summer I've averaged around 2600 miles. It really depends on the time of year, but with that I'd say the winter months have been the least so far.
