Barr nunn info for anyone thinking of joining

Well I live in NE North Carolina. Bout 30 miles east of Roanoke Rapids.

 

18 day out fleet will be the highest paid for you.

The guys out of Charlotte typically earn less per mile than Northeast regional but still earn a reasonable check.

 

I can go to any of a hundred different companies to make a reasonable check. I want to make a good check

 

Then become a doctor.

I don't work for Barr Nunn. I bought a truck and went to Landstar.

 

What do you consider a good check? What is good to one guy isn't that good to another.

 

If I don't go home all the time, with 5 years exp, I expect to take home at least $1000 a week. I know that wouldn't be constant, but more the norm than the rarity.

 

See that is why I asked. 1k is really reasonable to look for. Could find that at a lot of places. I consider good averaging in the 1500 range. When I was a trainer for USX I would go home every 3rd weekend for 3 days on those short weeks I was looking at the 1000gross, average week would be around 1400-1500 and my best week there was 2600 for one week. That is a company trainer not OO. It averaged out to about 1500 gross a week. Everyone has their own idea of what is good and what is not so good.

 

Well $1000 take home is like 1400 gross. I made more as a trainer for USA but after a few years doing that, there ain't enough money to make me put these noobs in my truck anymore. Yea there are still some good ones but the majority suck.
