Baseplate transferable to different authority?

Who bought the plate? I did not say who paid for it!!

Sounds like you will lose your $1500 and will have to buy another. But I'm not positive cause I've never let someone buy mine.
Advice --- Always buy your own everything when possible so nobody has you under thumb and trapped.

IF you are going to BUY a big truck, run that big truck, work it like you own it. You really need to seriously OWN that thing. Between yourself and the bank.

 

I agree, so many get in and think they can cut corners and then they are trapped cause they can't afford to do it again. Or it straps them to fix it and then something else happens.
It goes both ways, if you can pick up and walk then the company will think twice also before they do-- ???
And if your dependent on them for plate money or ifta or whatever they feel they have upper hand.

 

You mean to tell me collectively that I can have a hundred dollars in my pocket hid from the wife, go to a dealer and bank buy me a big large car and then pretend to be a owner operator while the lease company buys me tags and everything else?

OMFG Ive been wasting away in this armchair for nothing for daring to understand that I want to be my own trucking company with 1000 trucks some day and plenty of people hire on to do a good job with them.
